Yiming Chen, born in Guangzhou, China, in 1993, is a Chinese contemporary artist who currently lives and works in Yanjiao, Hebei. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Experimental Art from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2018. Chen Yiming’s artistic media include stencil graffiti, stop-motion animation, and easel painting. His style straddles the line between reality and surrealism; through the displacement and reinterpretation of everyday objects, he constructs a visual language that is calm, restrained, and imbued with a sense of the absurd.
