Overview
CoBrA Gallery is pleased to announce its curated unit featuring artists Feng Yan, Yang Di and Wen Qi at Photo Shanghai, Booth A23.
Titled The Eye Has To Travel, the presentation showcased photographic works by the three artists, unfolding a restrained yet expansive visual narrative centred on time, materiality and the very act of seeing.
The “carriage” acted as a latent spatial anchor, serving primarily as an invitation. Rather than constructing a self‑contained narrative, the booth reverted to the primal state of viewing: how could an image generate meaning without leaning on pre‑established stories? And how might stillness preserve the flow of time within itself?
