Jin Ye was born in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, in 2001. He graduated from the Affiliated High School of the China Academy of Art in 2019 and earned a bachelor’s degree from the Second Studio of the Oil Painting Department at the China Academy of Art in 2023; he earned a master’s degree from the Second Studio of the Oil Painting Department at the China Academy of Art in 2026. He currently lives and works in Hangzhou.
