The work Cut consists of a narrow, sharp-edged groove several meters long, which runs parallel to the floor at a height of about 30 cm. At its end, a saw blade appears to protrude from the wall. This minor intervention transforms existing walls and spaces themselves into artistic works. Is it also capable of bringing them down? The wall as an object supporting the building, producing the space and protecting its inner life is suddenly shaken. Structures that were thought to be firmly and reliably in place are called into question.
