CoBrA Gallery is delighted to present the group exhibition Tokens from the Deep Sea in partnership with CORALLO HARA. Opening on 17 October 2026, the exhibition will remain on view until 17 December 2026.
This exhibition takes Tokens from the Deep Sea as its theme, bringing together multiple Chinese and international artists and designers.
Artists featured on the first floor include Chen Qiang, Chen Yiming, Feng Yan, Guan Weiwei, Huang Saifeng, Ma Kelu, Marta Kuscora, Martha Sturdy, Ni Xuemin, Vanessa Barragão, Yang Di, Yao Bangliang, Yuan Huinan, Zhang Yixiong and Zhang Tianjun. Their works span painting, installation and sculpture. Much like the growth of coral, they embed perceptions of nature and traces of time within materials.
The Chinese-style section on the second floor presents works by Chen Xin, Huang Dan, Xiang Hao and Xu Mingyu. Adopting an Eastern perspective to revisit the poetic spirit of mountains and seas, they draw out deep-sea imagery hidden within tradition through restrained and subtle artistic language.
